Six month check-up

And in this corner, weighing in at 16 lbs 4 oz, 26" tall, wearing white...

Happy Birthday Marlie!

Last weekend we celebrated Marlie's first birthday at the park in the beautiful weather. It was such a nice time visiting with everyone and watching all the kids play in the sun!

Gorgeous weather

God has blessed us with some amazing weather lately and we have definitely been enjoying it! We went strolling in the neighborhood and Isabella was all smiles...

I had brunch with Mary and Brooke this weekend at Tila's (yummy, yummy) and we laughed about old times of growing up in the Wood. The three of us grew up in the same neighborhood and graduated from Friendswood together. We're all grown up (for the most part) and it's so nice that we still keep in touch and can laugh hysterically like we did as kids.

Isabella is sleeping without a swaddler (I know, not exactly a milestone BUT it's a good news at the Burkhalter house!), sitting up on her own, and we've moved on to veggies...

I was meant to be born Italian!

You know, either people love or hate Olive Garden. I can appreciate fine dining. Jason and I tried an Italian place called Da Marco for Valentine's Day and it was amazing! The food was delicious, service was excellent and the ambiance was romantic and cozy...BUT there is no shame in my game when enjoying the occasional OG!

Picture Day

My sweet friend Juliana let me borrow her chair for a photo shoot held last week in our backyard. It was a beautiful day and Isabella loved sitting in the rocking chair.

The photographer likes to note that she was a perfect model...followed direction well and not once had to leave the set!
