Picture Day

My sweet friend Juliana let me borrow her chair for a photo shoot held last week in our backyard. It was a beautiful day and Isabella loved sitting in the rocking chair.

The photographer likes to note that she was a perfect model...followed direction well and not once had to leave the set!

It's funny because I used to sing this song to Jason on occasion...poor guy, but I sing it to Isabella now and only she can truly appreciate my singing with smiles and enjoyment.

Speaking of smiles...it's so hard to capture her smiling! Once the camera comes out, she looks at it with such curiosity and the flash always makes her jaw drop...I just need to break out the ol' 35mm!

I like to call her, Sweetness...

A lot has been going on with our sweet girl, Isabella. She's eating solid food, rolling over (both ways!), and there is a chance she's teething...yikes! The girl is starting to bite and gnaw on things, including her big, fat toe!!! I just know she'll be sitting up very soon as she's able to balance herself pretty well. She continues to be such a good girl wherever we go and it's such a joy to have strangers come up to me and say, "that is such a good baby!" The tranquilizers must be working...

Vivian

Our niece Vivian turned one January 6th! It's hard to believe it's been a year. Oh, how I remember racing my sister to the hospital...oh joy! Vivi is is a joy! Her smile is contagious and she is so excited when Isabella is around. My sister Lisa threw her a "tu-tu cute party." It was so cute seeing the young girls dressed in their tu-tu's. Lisa made her girl's tu-tu's and showed me how to make Isabella's!

She's 4 months old!

Isabella is four months now. She had a good check-up last week and was due for her second round of shots. Once again she made us proud with little crying. She has brought so much joy to our lives and we are watching her grow with amazement. God has blessed us with a healthy and happy baby and feel blessed every day.

I think she's fitting in quite nicely with this family ;)
