Blogger Slacker...

or os it Slacker Blogger? Anyway, I'm in the process of putting together a new website thru .mac. Jason bought me a macbook and have been trying to learn my way around on it...I may even need to take a class!

Things have been well at our house. Isabella has experienced her first runny nose last week and thankfully is on the mend. Seeing the amount of pollen left on our cars on a daily basis gives us the idea it may be allergies. She has spoken her first "words" and started saying mama, baba to making sounds like the alien on "Enemy Mine"....anyone remember that? And as of yesterday she is saying dada! It's so cute to hear her make these sounds.

With spring-like weather and Easter approaching, I am looking forward to sunny days with my daughter! And with spring in the air with new beginnings, we are looking forward to many new babies this year! No, not ours, but close friends who are waiting on the arrival of their first born! So exciting...

Happy Birthday Marlie!

Last weekend we celebrated Marlie's first birthday at the park in the beautiful weather. It was such a nice time visiting with everyone and watching all the kids play in the sun!

God has blessed us with some amazing weather lately and we have definitely been enjoying it! We went strolling in the neighborhood and Isabella was all smiles...

Memories

I had brunch with Mary and Brooke this weekend at Tila's (yummy, yummy) and we laughed about old times of growing up in the Wood. The three of us grew up in the same neighborhood and graduated from Friendswood together. We're all grown up (for the most part) and it's so nice that we still keep in touch and can laugh hysterically like we did as kids.

I was meant to be born Italian!

You know, either people love or hate Olive Garden. I can appreciate fine dining. Jason and I tried an Italian place called Da Marco for Valentine's Day and it was amazing! The food was delicious, service was excellent and the ambiance was romantic and cozy...BUT there is no shame in my game when enjoying the occasional OG!

My sweet friend Juliana let me borrow her chair for a photo shoot held last week in our backyard. It was a beautiful day and Isabella loved sitting in the rocking chair.

The photographer likes to note that she was a perfect model...followed direction well and not once had to leave the set!

It's funny because I used to sing this song to Jason on occasion...poor guy, but I sing it to Isabella now and only she can truly appreciate my singing with smiles and enjoyment.
