Worn Out Favorites

I realize this is a bit random, but as I was cleaning up a little bit I noticed some items laying around that needed to be thrown out because they were so. . . worn out. So I thought I'd share two pictures of these favorites that finally went to big trash can in the pantry. So sad.

My favorite book. I've read it countless times. Might be time to get another copy.

These sandals, which were free with a purchase I made at American Eagle eight years ago, have been on many, many adventures. I seriously loved these things. Sandra did not. They finally gave out at Home Depot while I was carrying an 80 pound bag of concrete, in the rain, to the car. Not good. What's even better is that I hadn't finished shopping so I had to strap on my huge steel-toe construction boots (with no socks) and run into Lowe's. Dirty, wearing cut-off BDUs and black steel-toe boots. I looked militant.
